Parade The Circle

The 19th annual Parade the Circle takes place Saturday from 11am to 4pm. The parade begins in front of the Cleveland Museum of Art and includes entertainment, art, food, and tons of activities for the kids. Best of all its FREE! Even if you don't have kids this will be a great event to kick off your summer.

Father's Day Brunch

Looking for a place to take Dad for Father's Day? Sunday Brunch at Brasa is the place to go. Brunch is served from 10:00 to 2:00 pm. Featuring crab legs, shrimp, smoked salmon, fresh fruit, imported cheeses, roast beef, ham, and omelets made to order...need I say more? Even the hungriest dad will leave full. You need reservations so don't procrastinate!

Prices: $25 for adults and $12 for children, ages 5-12.

Big Brothers Big Sisters Youth Mentoring Program

Until June 30th all Cuyahoga County Arby's are raising funds to help children in our community. You can stop into any local Arby's and donate as little as $1. All proceeds will stay within the community and go towards youth mentoring.

This short book is easy, yet insightful reading. The Fire Next Time is available at your local bookstore for less than $10 and comes in paper and hardback.

An essential to any renaissance library...take a little time for yourself and read this book in your spare time (what little amount you may have)

One Walnut

Although One Walnut comes off as a little stuffy and pretentious this gem hidden inside the Amtrust building is my top choice for lunch time dining. Despite the pricy dinner menu One Walnut features a reasonably priced Blue Plate special showcasing the chef's choice of the day as well as a lobster mac and cheese that is worth writing home about. Be sure to get there early and don't be put off when the hostess asks if you have a reservation before she greets you, the food and service is top notch!

Cafe Sauslito

In the often neglected Galleria, Cafe Sauslito was voted best downtown dining value. My personal favorite is the mix two for $6.95 featuring shrimp bisque, beef tenderloin salad, tuna nicoise, and walnut and chicken wraps just to name a few. Cafe Sauslito will definitely fill you up without putting you to sleep when you go back to the office.
